Totally relate to both the music nostalgia (saw Taylor Swift in March, pretty epic, but my best memory is dancing in the mosh pit to the Ramones in 1995), and the inability to stay up late (see again: Taylor Swift concert, me drifting off a little during folklore).

Remember going to see SMS on a date with my now husband of 36 years. Time flies. I certainly couldn’t make it through a late show now! One of the highest compliments my older daughter paid me was telling me her great taste in music came from her dad and I. Die hard WXRT (Chicago) listeners from the beginning. Music memories play such an epic role in life.

I love that music provides a soundtrack to our lives. My kids don’t share my taste in music, but they know this Jersey Girl wants Bruce Springsteen played at my funeral.

I loved SMS and I always thought Tina was the fucking queen of that band! Love to hear your suggestions for making the plum cake without dairy or eggs? (Maybe I'm asking too much ;)

Hmmm - I’m not a vegan so I’m not the best person to ask. Tender heart may be the better bet for vegan options. I can’t remember if the carrot cake had an egg in it, but it def had a vegan yogurt option.
