My husband and I had to pare down when we moved to the UK 20 years ago. It's tough but also freeing, right?

It is painful to part with beautiful cookery books that seduced us. Some, I find, were more eye candy and hardly a recipe was tried. I do have Turquoise myself, and it’s got style and substance, but it’s awfully big. Your circle of friends in Portugal are in for some magnificent meals. Lucky ducks!
